Wildlife, birds, fish and flowers indigenous to the Pacific North West. These are relief carvings hand done with chisels, layers of stain and oil pigments.

How do you bring a two dimensional piece to life? By taking advantage of the texture of the black cotton wood, the wood grain that is brought out by the stains, the sparkle of the wood itself showing through, the nuance of layers of color that is changeable according to the light of day. These pieces do not stand in and of themselves, rather, they join everything in your space harmoniously.
